Welcome to Woodpeckers Class!
Woodpeckers Class is taught by Mr Carrette and supported by our Teaching Assistant, Mrs Hedges. We are a friendly and welcoming mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class, where children are encouraged to feel happy, confident and ready to learn.
In our classroom, we provide a stimulating and engaging environment where children can develop their knowledge and skills across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. We encourage curiosity and independence, helping pupils to explore new ideas, ask questions and challenge themselves in their learning.
We place a strong emphasis on teamwork, respect and kindness, ensuring that every child feels valued and included. At the same time, we support children to become increasingly independent and take pride in their own achievements.
Our aim is to help every child grow into a motivated, resilient learner who enjoys learning and is prepared for the next stage of their journey.
