Sport @ Clifton: Autumn Term 2018
KS2 have fun at the KAB Festival - November 2018
A team of us from Woodpeckers and Eagles were specially invited to the Chantry High School to have a go at three new sports: Kurling. Archery and Boccia. We had a brilliant time as it was fun to learn how to play these sports. Lots of us liked the Archery and a couple of us got an arrow on the Bullseye!
We would like to say a big thank you to all of the Young Leaders, Staff and Mr Rickard who organised this fantastic evening!

On Tuesday 2nd October, Woodpeckers class went to the Chantry High School to attend the annual Dance festival. This is always a highlight of their sporting calendar and this year was no different.
They enjoyed three different dance workshops; Lindy Bop, Street Dance and Cheer leading-with Street Dance being a firm favourite! Thank you to all of the staff and Young Leaders who helped to make the afternoon enjoyable and fun for us.

Year 5/6 Football League: Monday 17th September 2018
The first evening of the cluster football league was held on the 17th September. All the schools in the cluster went to Chantry to play so it was busy. For the first evening, Clifton had two matches.
The first match was against Broadheath. In the first half Broadheath scored 3 goals and looked to have an easy win. In the second half however, we began to really click as a team and we scored 2 goals. It was a close finish but the end result was 3-2 to Broadheath. Well done to Jonah and Callum who scored and helped us to get so close!
Our second match was against Great Witley. We moved a few players around and this seemed to work. In the first half both teams scored with our goal being scored by Willow. There were some amazing saves from Jonah too that helped us to stay in the game. In the second half, all it took was a great run and tap-in from Callum to seal the victory!
Overall it was a great evening and hopefully there will be more victories to come in the rest of the season. Well done to all the team especially Billy who played in his first matches for Clifton and did a great job!
