Our School Values
At Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School we aim to Inspire Minds and Shape Futures.
In order to do this, we believe that children need:
- To be loved
- To know what is expected of them
- To feel valued
- To experience success
- To develop self-awareness
- To understand their own and others' feelings
- To develop positive relationships
Our school values, The Clifton Way, underpin all of our teaching and learning and are evident in all the relationships within our school community.
Our school values are displayed in classrooms and around school; they are referred to in all lessons as a way of underpinning the children's personal, social and emotional development.
In order for children to be able to demonstrate The Clifton Way, our Positive Relationships and Behaviour Policy ensures all children and adults in and around the school community are Ready, Respectful and Safe. The children create their own class set of values to explain how they will show that they are Ready, Respectful and Safe.
